  • 1893 : Foundation of Jay Arogya Hospital by H.H. Madhav Rao Scindia (I), the Maharaja of the erstwhile State of Gwalior.
  • 1899 : Inauguration of Jay Arogya Hospital by Lord Curzon, the then Vice-Roy and the Governor General of British India.
  • 1902 : Starting of Midwifery Training.
  • 1922 : Organization of Gwalior Medical Association.
  • 1931 : Starting of Nurses Training School.
  • 1936 : Foundation of Kamla Raja Hospital for Women and Children by Michiones of Linlithgow.
  • 1936 : Addition of Operative-Surgery and Block to Jay Arogya Hospital.

  • 1945 : The Royal Proclamation, regarding establishment of the Gajara Raja Medical College, on March, 10th 1945, by H.H. Shrimant Jiwaji Rao Scindia and H.H. Shrimant Vijaya Raje Scindia, the Royal icons of the erstwhile State of Gwalior, on the auspicious occasion of the birth of the heir apparent, Yuvraj Madhav Rao Scindia (II) .
  • 1945 : Foundation of G.R. Medical College Building by Lord Wavel, the then Viceroy and Governor General of British India.
