Superspeciality hospital under the Parasol of Gajra Raja Medical College Gwalior was established in the year 2019, with the Great Collaboration & Co-operation of the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh to diagnose and treat the patients suffering from serious diseases related to Superspeciality branches.
For the better healthcare of the people facilities for out patients has been started w.e.f. 30/09/2019 and are getting medical benefits continuously. After that in First , Second and Third wave of Pandemic Covid-19, More than 1000 patients of Gwalior Divisions & Other nearby district of Uttar Pradesh & Rajasthan were treated successfully in this SSH being Dedicated Covid Hospital (DCH).
In view of great vision of Honʽble PM of India Shri Narendra Modi ji and Honʽble Chief Minister of MP Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan ji, this Superspeciality hospital is the first government Superspeciality hospital in the vicinity which is providing Superspeciality facilities to the peoples of Gwalior division and surrounding districts by treating patients suffering from complex and serious diseases being first Govt. Institute doing pious work by providing health benefits to all, is also a big achievement in the form of an ambitious scheme.
This 7 floored (G + 6) building is fully equipped with modern equipment’s and all kind of facilities.
Six Superspeciality departments and Two other associated departments are approved in this hospital and the medical teachers working here are very experienced and well versed in highly super specialized qualification DM/Mch & qualified, trained Co-medical (Paramedical& Nursing) staff is employed.
